Dear Readers,
This morning, I had the pleasure of meeting John W. Fountain, Chicago Sun-Times columnist and former Chicago Tribune, New York Times and Washington Post writer, when he and I participated in a conversation with Alison Cuddy on her WBEZ program: Eight Forty-Eight.
The topic was what Chicago’s next mayor should do in the way of creating family-friendly policies, specifically policies that would help low-income and woman-headed families combat neighborhood violence, get better schools, and generally develop thriving communities. Food-for-thought, indeed, as we head into this last week of this historic mayoral primary campaign.
Best wishes.
